Humber Street Sesh

Band Bloodhound playing in Hull, guitarist crowd surfing

What started out as a mellow afternoon strolling around street sesh in the sun turned into jaeger bombs and crowd surfing. BUT I wouldn't expect any less from Humber Street Sesh. It was 30 degrees, absolutely sweltering with the only shade being graced from the shadows of the main stage. Proper perfect festival weather.

We spent most the day at that stage: Yasmin Coe, Trueman Legend & the Indoor League, Lizzie Esau, Polo, King No-one & Low Hummer. Alt-indie four piece Crush were my favourite from the alternative stage, alongside Black Delta Movement, Lumer & BDRMM. A few BDRMM bangers were swiftly added to my daily playlist after that set.

I went without expecting to watch 11 properly good sets, so came away from the day feeling buzzed. I'm also fairly certain most of those artists are from up north & I bloody love that.

My point & shoot came with me for the day & I got a mix of b&w and colour film (but b&w wins every time for me!)
