Porto

I literally had no idea what Porto was like before we booked to go. The flights were cheap and we found a good hotel deal, so why not? But all I can say is thank god for those inclined treadmill sessions at the gym beforehand, because I have never walked up so many hills in my life.

Averaging around 20k steps a day, it was worth it for how beaut and fun Porto is.

We spent most of our time walking around near the water, trying out the wine bars and eating good food. A highlight for us was Nola Kitchen, that had beaut coffee and organic, veg-based brunches, and Early cafe too.

It seemed cheap too. Wine by the glass was only a few euros, even down by the water where it was more touristy. The only thing that was a little bit of a surprise on the wallet was a spontaneous trip to a tattoo studio after seeing posters around the harbour.

Also, check out the most beautiful McDonald's in the world. Literally.
