Taking our four month old puppy on holiday just felt like the right thing to do. There is nothing quite like seeing a baby chihuahua running free on the hills of Langcliffe, nearly being taken out by gusts of wind and close calls falling down the gaps in the rocks. Tofu (said puppy) definitely had some character building that week.
At The Barn in North Yorkshire, I literally feel like only we exist. The only other people we interact with is the Airbnb host at the beginning of our stay and the owner of the local Indian restaurant on New Year's Eve.
We spend most our time exploring wild countryside. You can get so close to free roaming Highland cows and can either hear nothing or distant waterfalls.
On our way to & from the barn we stop in Harrogate, grab a coffee at Hoxton North and sometimes head to the Lavender Fields, which are too pretty for words.
